Student presentations of their AI-assisted prototypes. Evaluation criteria: functionality, code quality, AI usage, presentation clarity. Open discussion and resources for self-development.

First Half (1 hour)

Student Presentations

  • 🎤Each student/group presents their AI-assisted prototype (5-7 min per presentation)
  • 🎤Demo of working code and explanation of approach
  • 🎤Q&A from instructors and peers

Second Half (1 hour)

Evaluation & Discussion

Evaluation Criteria:

  • ✓ Functionality: Does the prototype work as intended?
  • ✓ Code Quality: Is the code clean, well-organized, and documented?
  • ✓ AI Usage: How effectively was AI leveraged in the development?
  • ✓ Presentation: Clarity and organization of the presentation

Open Discussion:

  • • How to continue learning after the workshop
  • • Career opportunities in scientific programming and AI
  • • Resources and communities for continued development
